MOVING THE WALL LOG CABIN

When property was bought on Route 20 near Glenwood, West Virginia, a log cabin was discovered on the site. It is said to be the cabin of William Wall and determined to be about 150 years old.

To date, we don't know if this cabin belongs to our Wall line but are working on that information.

The cabin will be moved off this property to Glenwood State Park in Glenwood, West Virginia. where it will remain. Glenwood is about 5-6 miles from Princeton, West Virginia.

The name of the road that goes by the community is called the New Hope Road - Or Route 20.

It is about 65 miles from Blacksburg, Virginia.

The cabin could not be moved in one piece because of it's condition. Therefore, it will be dismantled, each log numbered and moved one by one to the new site and put back together.

Even if this cabin does not belong to our Wall line, we would love very much to see History preserved!

Thank You!
